Trivia:

Due to a licensing issue regarding the Japanese Pop Star Tokio, the first opening had to be removed from Funimation's DVD release. In its place is now Ultra Relax the second opening. Furthermore for Tokio's guest appearance in episode 1, Funimation had to completely remove his voice from the Japanese track resulting a in few scenes with absolutely no sound on Japanese Audio. As a final edit in this odd licensing issue, all references to Tokio have been removed from the subtitles and are replaced with a bleep (****) where Tokio would be mentioned.

In Episode 2, Tsuyoshi is reading a book about how to console women. The book is written by Miho Obana, who wrote the manga in which the anime was based on.

In Episode 3, Sana is wearing a costume almost the same as Nurse Angel Ririka SOS.

In episode 28, the waiter inside the cafe looks like Dewey from 'Nurse Angel Ririka SOS.'

In episode 38, when Sana launches in a jet to find the "Haya-moth," the launch sequence parodies the opening credit sequence of Super Dimensional Fortress Macross.

In Episode 49, Sana imagines working together on future projects with fellow actor Takeshi Gojo. One of the scenes she imagines is from Luc Besson's movie "Leon." (Sana is in the Natalie Portman role.)

In Episode 72, when Naozumi's mother shows him his room, among the toys are Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Rex from the Pixar film "Toy Story."
