This week we're featuring cosplayer and cosplay photographer Sachiko Pudding. We asked her: "How did you get started cosplaying?"
"I actually got started when I was in middle school, right in the middle of my socially awkward stage of life. Because I had a hard time relating to my less nerdy classmates, I started spending a lot of time on the internet trying to find my niche. I especially loved anything Sailor Moon, and so before long, I stumbled across the world of cosplay. I was very fortunate in that I had very supportive parents, who provided me with a way to attend conventions. Even though it took a long time to find my social group, I think I would be a very different person now if I hadn't had the opportunity to develop my creative albeit strange side. "
