Sunrise Plans to Release New Gundam Theatrical Film Every 1-2 Years

Sunrise announced at its Anime NYC panel on Friday that it plans to release a new Gundam theatrical film every one to two years. The films will debut in Japan and other countries, though the staff did not say which countries.
Sunrise will unveil a new project for the 40th anniversary of the Gundam franchise during a livestream on November 21 at 1:00 p.m. JST (November 20 at 11:00 p.m. EST).
The latest anime project for the franchise is Mobile Suit Gundam Narrative (Kidō Senshi Gundam NT, pictured right), a new film that will open on November 30 in Japan.
