Disgaea 5 for Nintendo Switch Has 110,000 Pre-Orders in N. America, Europe

NIS America president Takuro Yamashita revealed on Friday that the Nintendo Switch version of the Disgaea 5 Complete role-playing game has 110,000 pre-orders in North America and Europe. Yamashita contrasted this with the sell-in numbers for the game's Japanese release, which amounted to less than 20,000 units. He also elaborated that 36,000 of the pre-orders came from Europe, while 78,000 came from the United States, and that there are more pre-orders in France than the United Kingdom.
Physical and digital versions of Disgaea 5 Complete will arrive in North America on May 23 and in Europe on May 26. Nippon Ichi Software released the game for Nintendo Switch in Japan on March 3.
NIS originally created the game for PlayStation 4, and released it in Japan in March 2015, and in North America in October 2015.
