This year's combined 21st and 22nd issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is revealing on Monday that Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro will publish a new one-shot manga in Shueisha's Grand Jump magazine this fall.
Shimabukuro is publishing the 19-page "Chingiri" one-shot manga (pictured at right) in the same combined issue on Monday. He also recently published a different 29-page one-shot gag manga titled "Warai no Ōji Penpenpen" (Prince of Comedy Penpenpen) in the May issue of Shueisha's Saikyō Jump magazine on April 1.
Mitsutoshi ended his Toriko manga in November. The manga ran in Weekly Shonen Jump for eight years since 2008. Shueisha published the manga's 43rd and final compiled book volume on December 31. Viz Media published new chapters of the manga digitally simultaneously with the Japanese release in its digital English version of the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, and will publish the manga's 38th volume in print on May 2.
The manga inspired a 147-episode television anime series in 2011-2014. Crunchyroll streamed the series, and Funimation released part of the series on DVD. The manga also inspired several anime specials and crossover specials, and an anime film in 2013.
