posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda

Trademark for a "Road to Boruto" and "Narutimate Storm Trilogy" titles were filed under game developer Bandai Namco Entertainment's name on July 19, and made public on August 2.

Other trademarks filed and made public on the same dates under Bandai Namco Entertainment's name include "Break Edition," "Break Pass," "Build Absolute," "Build Beginning," "Build Evolution," "Build Kingdom," and "Build Rising."

Bandai Namco Entertainment previously trademarked "Narutimate Blazing" in August 2015, along with "Narutimate Braves" and "Narutimate Wars." In February, Bandai Namco Entertainment filed a similar "Ultimate Ninja Blazing" trademark in Europe. The company officially announced Naruto Shippūden Narutimate Blazing (Naruto Shippūden Ultimate Ninja Blazing) on May 9 as a smartphone game, which will get an English release this year.

The "Narutimate" word is used in Japan as a subtitle for video games in the Naruto franchise, such as Narutimate Storm, Narutimate Accel, or Narutimate Hero. The Narutimate Storm series is titled Ultimate Ninja Storm in the West.

Bandai Namco Entertainment released its Naruto Shippūden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 (Naruto Shippūden: Narutimate Storm 4) fighting game in Japan, Europe, and North America in February. The game is the latest installment in the Ultimate Ninja Storm fighting game series, and features the character Boruto from the Boruto -Naruto the Movie- anime film. The game series has shipped 15 million copies worldwide.
