Love Live! Sunshine!! BD in Japan Listed With English Subtitles

Bandai Visual is listing the first Japanese Blu-ray Disc home video release for the Love Live! Sunshine!! television anime with English subtitles. The first Blu-ray Disc volume is slated for September 27.
The series premiered in Japan on Saturday. Funimation, which is streaming the anime in North America, describes the story:
Nothing is more appealing than the bright, sparkling world of School Idols! The girls of Uranohoshi Girls' High School are swept into idol fever, wanting nothing more than to become the next-best School Idol group. And they plan to do just that. Chika Takami brings together eight of her classmates to form Aqours, their own idol group. As long as they don't give up, any dream can come true!
Crunchyroll and Daisuki are both also streaming the series outside of Japan.
Kazuo Sakai (Mushi-Uta director, episode director for Love Live! School idol project, Gundam Build Fighters) is directing the series at Sunrise, and Jukki Hanada (all previous Love Live! School idol project anime) is handling the series composition. Yūhei Murota returned to design the characters, and Tatsuya Katou (Free! - Iwatobi Swim Club, Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma) is composing the music at Lantis.
The Love Live! Sunshine!! project was first announced in February 2015. The project's three key phrases are "Reader Participation," "Inspired by μ's," and "Seaside Town Setting." The group's name Aqours was chosen by fans by popular vote.
