Demon Gaze II PS Vita Game Ships on October 13 in Japan (Updated With Trailer)

posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins

Kadokawa Games announced at its "Kadokawa Games Media Briefing 2016 Summer" press conference on Monday that its Demon Gaze II sequel game for the PlayStation Vita will ship in Japan on October 13. The game will retail for 6,300 yen (about US$59). The game's preorder bonus includes a Best Selection Demongaze Music CD. Kadokawa Games is co-developing the sequel with experience inc.

NIS America released the first Demon Gaze fantasy dungeon role-playing game for the PS Vita in North America and in Europe in April 2014. NIS America describes the story:

The world's western frontier—with a dark shroud covering his memories of the past. The land before him contains many labyrinths that hold both treasure and danger in equal volumes. Without knowing where else to go or what else to do, Oz decides to take up arms in order to hunt down artifacts and eke out a living in this world that feels so new to him. One day, he will have to face his past, but until then, he has no choice but to trust those around him, and in his newfound abilities as a "Demon Gazer"...

Kadokawa Games developed the first Demon Gaze game and released it in Japan in January 2013.

Update: Kadokawa Games began streaming a debut trailer for the game on Monday. The end of the video notes that "special content" for the game titled "ProjectCode -Kengou-" will debut this fall.
