Live-Action Terraformars Film Screens With English Subtitles in Tokyo

The TOHO CINEMAS theater in Tokyo's Roppongi Hills is screening the live-action Terraformars film with English subtitles.

The film adaptation of Kenichi Tachibana and Yū Sasuga's science-fiction manga opened in Japan on Friday, April 29, during the Golden Week holidays. Takashi Miike (live-action films of Ichi the Killer, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, Yatterman, As the Gods Will, Crows Zero, Mogura no Uta) directed the film, and Kazuki Nakashima (Gurren Lagann, Kill la Kill) wrote the screenplay. A live-action prequel, Terraformars: Aratanaru Kibō (Terraformars: A New Hope), premiered online on April 24.
