Pokémon Games Have Sold More Than 200 Million Copies Worldwide

The Pokémon Company announced on Thursday that the 25 main titles in the Pokémon game series have sold more than 200 million copies worldwide as of February 29.
The total number of copies sold is approximately 210 million. If all the spinoff games are included, the series has sold 279 million copies worldwide.
The franchise celebrated the 20th anniversary of the first games on February 27. The next games in the main series, Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon, are slated for international release this holiday season.
