Bravely Second: End Layer RPG Slated for N. America on April 15 With Collector's Edition

posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda

Nintendo announced on Tuesday that Square Enix will release its Bravely Second: End Layer Nintendo 3DS role-playing game in North America on April 15, revealed details on the game's Collector's Edition.

In addition to a copy of the game, the Collector's Edition will include the game's original soundtrack and a 250-page art book, and will be available for US$69.99.

While the Collector's Edition of Bravely Second: End Layer's European release also includes the above contents, it additionally includes a figurine of the character Agnes.

Bravely Second: End Layer – The Ballad of the Three Cavaliers, a demo of the game, will be available in the Nintendo eShop before the game's release.

The game is a sequel to the Nintendo 3DS game Bravely Default, but features a new protagonist as well as returning characters. The game shipped in Japan last April, and will ship in Europe on February 26.

Main character designer Akihiko Yoshida previously announced his decision to leave Square Enix; however, he said he will continue to work on the Bravely Default series "for as long as he is needed." Yoshida again served as main character designer for the sequel, and supercell's Ryo composed the music. Sword Art Online illustrator abec also designed several new characters for the game.

Bravely Default's enhanced version, titled Bravely Default: For the Sequel in Japan, shipped in North America in February 2014.
