CAPCOM announced in a blog post on Monday that it postponing the first beta test for Street Fighter V until further notice.
The beta was supposed to launch on July 23 and run for five days for players who pre-ordered the PlayStation 4 version of Street Fighter V, but many users found the game unplayable due to server issues. CAPCOM decided to take the servers offline after three days.
"We will be postponing our first beta phase until we believe the experience is going to be a positive one for players," CAPCOM said.
The company promised that there will still be three beta test runs before the game launched. It also promised an in-game incentive for players of this first beta test.
The game is slated for release on the PlayStation 4 and PC (via Steam) in the spring 2016 release window.
