Heavy Object Novels by Magical Index's Kamachi Get New Manga

The March issue of Kadokawa's Dengeki Maoh magazine announced last week that Sakae Saitō will launch the new Heavy Object A (Ace) manga in the magazine's next issue, which will ship in Japan on February 27.
The manga is based on the Heavy Object science-fiction war action light novel series by A Certain Magical Index author Kazuma Kamachi. The original novels' story revolves around Objects — powerful, massive weapons that change the course of warfare — and Elite Object pilots. An odd Elite girl named Milinda meets Quenser, a student who aims to become a Object mechanic, with the soldier-in-training Heivia on a snowy battlefield.
Sakae Saitō previously serialized the Heavy Object S manga in Dengeki Maoh from 2011 to 2013, which is based on the same novel series. Shinsuke Inue also serialized a manga adaptation in Dengeki Black Maoh and Dengeki Maoh from 2009 to 2011. A television anime adaptation was announced last October.
Kamachi's multi-series crossover story Toaru Majutsu no Heavy na Zashiki Warashi ga Kantan na Satsujin-ki no Konkatsu Jijō (The Circumstance Leading to a Simple Killer Princess's Marriage Was A Certain Magical Heavy Zashiki Warashi) is also inspiring a manga that is launching this month.
