The Evil Within Makes Consumer Report's Top 5 'Most Violent' Game List
posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
The American review publication Consumer Reports included Shinji Mikami's The Evil Within (Psycho Break) survival-horror game on its list of the five most violent video games of 2014.
The story follows a detective named Sebastian and his partner as they head to the scene of a ghastly mass killing. Sebastian then witnesses the other police officers get killed off one by one, and when the unknown assailant attacks him, he loses consciousness. He wakes up in a world of madness where apparitions lurk and death is never far away.
The game shipped on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC in October in North America and Europe and in Japan on October 23.
The other entries on the list include Grand Theft Auto V, Watch Dogs, Assassin's Creed Unity, and Sunset Overdrive.
