The official website for the "campus sword & sorcery" television anime Seiken Tsukai no World Break announced that the series will premiere on January 11 on TV Tokyo.
Akamitsu Awamura's "campus sword & sorcery" light novel series is set in a private high school that brings together "saviors," youths with awakened memories from past lives. Some of them are Shirogane who fight enemies with weapons and techniques gleaned from the Puraana powers from their own bodies. Others are Kuroma who wipe out enemies, with magic to manipulate the Maana powers that surpass physics. A boy named Moroha Haimura (Kaito Ishikawa) enrolls in this school. He is the first person in history with past lives of both Shirogane and Kuroma.
Takayuki Inagaki is directing the anime at diomedéa (Gingitsune, My mental choices are completely interfering with my school romantic comedy) with Masakazu Ishikawa (Campione!, Kodomo no Jikan) adapting refeia's original character designs for animation. Hiroshi Yamaguchi (Gingitsune, Comic Party) is in the charge of the series scripts. Petit Milday and Fortuna (a group made of the anime's voice actresses Yui Ogura, Maaya Uchida, Ayana Taketatsu and Aoi Yūki) are performing the opening and ending themes for the series, respectively.
