Capcom Producer: No New Vampire/Darkstalkers Anytime Soon

CAPCOM producer Yoshinori Ono told Famitsu magazine that there are no new planned installments in the Darkstalkers franchise. Ono said that the Darkstalkers Resurrection compilation did not sell as projected, at least in Japan.
Ono stated in 2012 that the fans no longer needed to wave cash for more Darkstalkers. CAPCOM then released Vampire Resurrection (Darkstalkers Resurrection) in March 2013 in Japan and in North America via the PlayStation Network.
