I'm guessing they got the subtitle from the direct translation of "houkago katsudou," which is "afterschool activities." Katsudou doesn't refer to children's coloring books or snack time, but rather doing activities as a profession. As another example, Aikatsu is short for "Idol Katsudou," which means activities as an idol.
