If we are referring to actual live performances, the entire original cast will probably stop within the next couple years, as for reprising a voice acting role it will only end if it stops paying the bills.

Another day, another pregnancy. I think this is all a conspiracy by the Japanese government to encourage otaku to emulate their idols & start procreating. God help us all.

I sure hope not! I like the idol world, this franchise in particular. (And Miki is quite likeable)

Hopefully it works now or later, they need the old to die off to open up some room over there and then the young ones need to get to mingling.

This is one conspiracy that would be welcome if it's true. I also don't think we'll see the main 13 again in anime except for cameos, if Million Live gets an anime (or better yet the PS4 game doesn't have them), then we'll know that they've pretty much been retired from the anime.

What made you say that?

I think while some members might have to call it quits at some point, there are no reasons to expect those who still have to nurse a public career in doing events and made peace with the franchise to stop any time soon. A couple members have made it back after childbirth and lives...do pay the bills after all.

The producer already said in a previous interview with foreign press that no matter how the voice actresses get, as long as they can do the voices, it's fine. An announcement about the new PS4 game is coming this year, according to the production staff.

Also, there's a brand new set of Imas CDs coming out for each of the 13 idols starting within the next month, exactly the same as Imas 2. So I don't know where one of the posters got the idea that the 13 (12 including Mami, Ami) wouldn't appear in the PS4 game.

I guess it has much to do with the recent anime, but the impression I've got is that recently there's been a lot more Cinderella Girls live performances than by the original cast (Animelo Summer Live, Lis Ani etc.)

Speaking of Cinderella Girls and the upcoming PS4 game, by any chance did anybody notice how the season ending episode for Cinderella Girls was completely 2D as opposed to the original cast always being aided by 3D models from the game? Both their anime and the movie had this kind of aid.
This means one of two things for me: Either they don't have 3D models (they do, in the form of ONE FOR ALL DLC. No idea why they didn't use that) or they held back on using any so as to not spoil the upcoming game's engine.

Thanks for the heads up on the CDs, I'll grab Iori's CD.

So we may never get a console or handheld title with Million Live or Cinderella Girls (that are producible). That's a bummer.
