Now that Sentai has all four seasons of The Familiar of Zero, all that's left (in my case) is to wait for the English version of the entire show (that is, if they decide to make it).

Regarding a potential dub of the other seasons of Familiar of Zero: Cristina Vee as Louise, or I'm not buying.

I am just going to buy them and if a dub comes along later, then that would be great. After seeing them recast for the 3rd season of Rozen Maiden and Fate/Kalied Liner Prisma Illya, it would seem that either they would have to convince Cristina Vee to come to to Houston or they'll just recast. I liked Vee's take on Louise, but it's not like one of the Houston or Dallas actors couldn't do it and almost anybody would be an improvement over Jonathan Meza's Saito.

Bang Zoom getting more work(and recasting Saito) would certainly be ideal though.

Yeah, it's nice to see them all licensed but if they weren't planning to dub them, they should have just released the first one sub only.

I'm sure it added to sales but it also led to expectations.

^True but at the same time, the first season wasn't exactly a seller under Geneon & FUNi. It was either do this or an in-house dub recasting everyone for later seasons like with Rozen Maiden & Shana (latter's FUNi but still a major example).

The big question now is if it sells and they do a dub later, will they get Cristina & the rest of that cast back or will they recast everyone again?

3 full seasons totaling 36 episodes?
The chances of them outsourcing a dub with that much content are so small that it's practically zero.

If they decide to go back and dub it after releasing it sub (also a really small chance) the outlook of the series would probably be looking at an in-house recast.

Slightly unrelated, but with Sentai Filmworks releasing the rest of the seasons of Zero, I wonder if their release of Hayate the Combat Butler S3 does well they'll also consider releasing the first two seasons on BD in complete season sets.

Finally. I'm glad to see they've finally gotten the 3rd season to complete to series. I have the original geneon dvd release. Not sure if I want to upgrade that, but I'm glad I can own the whole thing.
