I am so hyped for this! Oh my gosh I can't wait! I apologize for fan-girling, it's just that I can't wait to see Hiroshi Kamiya in action again as Izaya Orihara!

I wish that the promo featured the more of the new characters. With so many of them, this is going to turn into a real Baccano! Maybe not as good, but still...Anime smallmouth

Looks like another stylish kind of Teen Urban Fantasy LN adaptation. I remember dropping the first season because it just kind of felt like a whole bunch of coolish characters but nothing really happening though so pretty much won't be catching this anyway.

I think its strength is in the storytelling. Though yes it's got its share of being stylish and having coolish characters, I'd say I don't find them as empty as other stylish coolish anime. Some characters are interesting in personality, and the way the storytelling intertwine the bunch of those characters pretty much fairly, makes almost every one of them likeable and cared by its audience.

Anyway, I also wish for more promotional pictures featuring the new characters. Want to see those new faces sketches in colors and poses.

I have the same impression as you are the first time i watched it and ended up putting it on hold for2 year. And what bad decision it was!! The storytelling in this is kind of slow and lazy at first, exactly like Stein;Gate, it introduce a bunch of characters with seemingly no relation to each other, only to have them each revealling their secret, their motive, and then cross paths and ended up saving/destroying each other in the end.
For this reason, the "true" plot of the first season didn't really set off until ep 17 or so.
