Ah, so it's J.C. Staff. Looks like they will be working on this and that Dungeon anime next year.

JC Staff does a pretty good job on shows, so I can be happy knowing its not Toei.

The character designs look nice, and I'm definitely up for having some great music in it!

Perfect.
J.C. Staff proved themselves in many good shows (Except HENNEKO xD)
But I am really glad that they are the one that are doing shokugeki

So J.C., huh? Ok, I'll let myself have faith, even though I do have a problem with their recent Little Busters adaptation...

Confused disappointed by this choice, or at least unsure how i feel about it. I hope toru ohkawa will be the narrator xD, whenever an explanation of the food came up i always read it in his voice.

Looking forward to it.

Oh please... Index fans died when Heavy Object was announced instead of Season 3 back at the beginning of October.

Either way: Heavy Object, Danmachi, Shokugeki no Soma. JC Staff have got quite the offering for 2015.

I really think Yoshitsugu Matsuoka gets a bit of a bad rap with the whole "ugh, Kirito" thing. I get that some people have issues with SAO (and I certainly don't think it's flawless myself), but I honestly found Matsuoka's performance to be one of the parts I liked about the show.

Not to mention he's done some other good work besides that. His performance as Sora from No Game, No Life was pitch-perfect in my opinion. I honestly think he's really well-suited to Souma.

Ah, JC Staff...they have a strange track record with me. While they've done some stuff that I really enjoy, like The Familiar of Zero/AnoNatsu/Maid-sama/Honey & Clover, they also have released stuff that I didn't enjoy, like Shana (though, mostly the last season that ruined that one)/Little Busters/Majimoji Rurumo/Arcana Famiglia.

Feels like some of the more recent JC Staff series haven't sat well with me. Little Busters and Majimoji were both ones I initially enjoyed, only to see the series fall apart before my eyes. Golden Time almost did the same thing too. Sakurasou's ending felt really flat.

While I've not read anything of the source material on this one, I just hope that it doesn't unravel near the end like some of the recent JC Staff series I mentioned. Could throw in Dai-Shogun: Great Revolution, but I couldn't get past the first 10 minutes of episode 1 due to the animation, so I can't say I disliked the series...

Though, JC will always have a special place in my heart due to AnoNatsu.

Ahaha, yeah, at least it isn't Toei.

Anyways, this staffing seems generic to me besides the studio.
There aren't any impressive resumes here.
I guess I'll have to wait and see now. Hopefully they won't mess it up.
Matsuoka as Souma is great, though.
