It's as if Toei heard the prayers of all Saint Seiya fans and responded. That's one slot in the new anime season taken - I wonder if the other former Bronze Saints will be making appearances further in? Man, now I can't wait. Is it April yet? |

THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS. Although Dragon Shiryu's seiyuu died a few years ago, maybe they can get Narita Ken (took over the Bright Noa role)? But I would be very very happy if Ikki made an appearance

The real Seiya is back !!!! YEEEEES i never stopped believing that he will return for his rightful role and there is he is. I think the main reason for his return is that they decided to ignore Kuramada's creative ideas that lead to the disastrous re-casting.

After the loss of Shingo Araki, it's nice to know at least one essential ingredient of the original Saint Seiya anime will be back in this new series. Furuya's voice never seems to age, and he should have never been replaced.

Toru Furuya -- Playing teenage boys since 1966! From what I read on the Japanese Wikipedia article, after Hirotaka Suzuoki's death, Kuramada wanted to recast everyone EXCEPT Furuya as Seiya. Furuya stood up for his friends and said he wouldn't do it without the others. |
