I remembered when I sat my mom down and tried to explain memes to her. She still doesn't get it, but she's learned quite a few of them from my brother and me. I taught her how to Rickroll!
Haruhi and cats. Yep, all bases have been covered. Love it. |

I successfully explained LOLcats, "doing it for the lulz", the meaning of the word "w00t", and 1337 speak to my mom. |

Hurr hurr because all memes (generally from 4chan) are anime related. The only board about anime on 4chan is /a/, and we typically hate ANN's stance on everything, even this comic.
That's why the term weeaboo is used. |

I had to look up "Rickroll" on wikipedia because I had no idea what it meant.  Ever since my brother got into free Korean MMOs I've always had a strong disdain for internet slang since my brother would annoy me by using them in his everyday speech. |

Though some seem to actually agree with the strip's assessment of internet memes. I'm sure they'll all be accused of being ANN spies. |

It's unfortunate people have no sense of humor and believe that all people, whether on their sites or on other sites or anywhere, need to think as they demand, but let's keep that mentality under the white bed sheets and in political forums where it's more at home. If you hate it so much why post in a thread about the comic? It's ok though. We all understand you're just posting because you're just insecure with yourself and are desperate for the need to be accepted and acknowledged because you're lonely and simply need a hug from someone. It's ok to admit it, we won't judge you. Let it all out and let the healing begin. 
I do feel sorry for Nina though. No matter how hard she tries to be with it she's always just 1 step behind. So very sad heh.
