Sounds good. Better to quit while ahead. I can take or leave another season based on how what we have already left us off.

The show works best as a stand-alone thing, otherwise the implication that it replaces the original continuity going forward would really be a bummer considering how many memorable moments and characters from the comic would just be erased.

Quite right too, the story had a beginning, a middle and an end. It’s all done and dusted.
Maybe they should adapt Seconds as a movie, that’s a good book!

I'd agree if they didn't end it on a mid credit cliff hanger....

@Dop.L Seconds is getting a movie adaptation! Bryan Lee O'Malley announced it last year. Edgar Wright will be returning to write the screenplay, so I have faith it's in good hands.

Not everything needs to be an endless franchise (i.e. FLCL) so I'm glad this is planned to be a one time series.

Same here. I hated when companies cash in on certain series that were meant to be an one-and-done thing and not an franchise especially if the story of any series has an complete telling with no cliffhangers or post-credits scenes that would make them obvious for sequels..

Some shows or movies never meant to become long running franchises or have multiple installments just to make more money. I'm personally fine the way this miniseries ended.

It's great as-is and we really don't need more. I take the JulieXGordon end scene not as a teaser of a possible sequel but as something like "and then they decided to evilly share a netflix account". Laughing

It's not really a cliffhanger. More like a satire of cliffhangers.

Or Worst World or whichever one he'd been doing art for like 7 years.

As much as I would love more Scott Pilgrim, no reason to force a continuation or continue something that ended on a good note, even as someone who wanted a straight adaption of the comic. The series was enough uncharted waters as it is.

(Though I would love a second season if just to finally give Lisa more screentime).

The show needs a season 0, not a season 2.

As much as an adaption of the actual comic would be nice I think that's never going to happen at this rate.
