I am not surprised, the first season was a guilty pleasure in how over the top it is in wish fulfillment.

Hopefully it will be given to a new studio, because the animation in that first season was...oof.

If it does, hopefully they retain the character designer, which I think is the first season's strong point.. if nothing else.

I don't think that would happen, considering Hiromi Kimura is in-house at Milipeense. But even then, considering the designs being so needlessly detailed is one of the things that screwed the production, maybe that's actually for the best.

This makes me happy. This a ridiculous title but it managed to entertain me reasonably well. Guilty pleasure and over the top wish fulfillment are excellent descriptors.

Wouldn't be the first of the authors' work to get a season 2 (assuming that's what this is), I can only hope the animation quality improves.

I hope it's season 2 is better than Fruit of Evolution season 2. The producers focused too much on one brand of comedy, and cut out half the classroom cast.
