That sucks, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't at least a little amused that this is exactly what the Konami conspiracy-theorists said was going to happen.

Why were people speculating that, exactly? It sucks it was delayed, but I'd rather have a good remaster than another mediocre one. |

People have convinced themselves that Konami is delaying in order to release on the same date, or close to the same date, as Eiyuden Chronicles. That being the game made by former Suikoden people as a spiritual successor to Suikoden. |
