I saw Mamiko Noto and got excited because I expected a sexy character fpr her to voice, I scroll down and that was not what I saw. The characters face made me laugh.

Reposting my post from the previous Kubo articles because Joanna copied and pasted the error Crystalyn posted in the previous articles. It should have been corrected back in October, but never was.

this will be the first time she has both starred in and provided a theme song for an anime.

This must be counting as a solo performance as it should have been specified as such because HanaKana starred (what's the definition of starred? Obviously #1 in the cast list, but also top 2 with both male and female in a series such as Kubo) in plenty of series where she was the main and did the theme song (OP or ED), but had one or more seiyuu perform the theme song with her, but even then your statement would be wrong as a solo performance because she starred in Tonari no Seki-kun in 2014 as Yokoi Rumi, which is the equivalent plot wise to this Kubo series with a male character and performed the OP theme by herself.

Other mentions:

Sketchbook: Full Colors in 2007: She starred as Kajiwara Sora and performed the 2nd ED theme with Asuka Nakase and Yui Makino.

Morita-san wa Muchiki in 2011: She starred as Morita Mayu and performed the OP theme with Haruka Tomatsu.

This looks so adorable!

Also that Mamiko Noto character. Playing a real mom more than an anime mom.

I wonder if they’re deliberately going for the Yuno yandere meme with the visual

@Rob19ny: I do not plan to take this information out of the article and past articles on the subject because that is exactly how the Japanese press release Kadokawa sent to us worded it, multiple times.

Shiraishi's design looks fine(hard to screw up a mob character), but Kubo's design is a little off. Or is it just me?
