Nice. With this and Urusei Yatsura Sentai/HIDIVE already has a strong lineup for Fall 2022.

Indeed, also can't wait to see this. The Sentai wave last summer was really impressive. Now that they have licensed at least ten series again for the fall, there's no way their ADR directors Kyle, John and Shannon could not be not busy again. We still have half of their summer titles left undubbed and I'm hoping When Will Ayumu Make His Move? and Tokyo Mew Mew New still get dubs.

As for their fall lineup, I'm most looking forward to Reincarnated as a Sword and The Eminence in Shadow and I hope they Dubcast them.

Boom, called it on Sentai grabbing this one. Another W for them. I hope more good titles come home to HIDIVE in the future, considering how awful the Crunchyroll monopoly is towards their talent and customers right now.

Called it. This show just screamed "We belong in Sentai!"

I agree. Now is the time for Sentai/HIDIVE to strike.

Broods in Netflix/Disney because they offer Union dubs yet haven't licensed many anime yet

It's good for you who can get HiDIVE. But do you think of people in countries who cannot get it? I only have CR account because there is no other choice (you could get Wakanim in past but I hate watching with non-English subs and they are the same now either way).

Sentai/HIDIVE has certainly been going on the offense now. I hope they keep this up and prompt more people to subscribe to them. Would be nice if they garnish some more of their titles with dubcasts for dub fans.

Subscribed with HIDIVE for DanMachi IV and Call of the Night amongst other shows. I'm super glad because they're picking up some nice shows.

Doesn’t look like the AMC purchase has affected the types of shows Sentai is getting, which is probably for the best.

Considering some of the other content licensed by other AMC streaming outlets, I doubted that it would have any effect on their license strategy.

There’s always a slight trepidation when a new company first takes the reins but it appears any concerns are unfounded.

This was my thought when they announced the deal as well. The majority of Sentai’s catalogue is relatively tame compared to some of the stuff that Shudder streams.

I figured Sentai had this one, but good to see it confirmed. They’ve managed to nab most of the shows I’ve been interested in for the summer and fall, so I’m glad I resubscribed to HiDive.

I live in Europe so I get what you mean, I'm sure if everyone complained to them about this Sentai would change the way they do things, unfortunately those who live in the US don't care about Sentai/Hidive damaging every other country because they aren't affected by it, so our complaints will never get to the company. We Europeans aren't allowed to legally watch these anime because of a company that wants to be greedy, that's just how it is and it's both ironic and frustating, the moment we're about to legally get all seasonal shows another company pops up and starts licensing dozens of anime without even translating them. Wish Japanese companies cared more about how their series get distributed in the west.
