Yes. I can't remember correctly but I think there are 2 english Dubs and he's in at least one those if not the only one. While it's one of my favorite Gibli movies I kinda refrain from watching it because I'm always sad because It reminds me of that tragic incident.

Not sure if our local theatre will be showing it but I would love to hear Takayama Minami's earlier works again.

There is really like 3 English Dubs for the movie. The Streamline Dub, the Disney Dub with Phil Hartman and a re-release of the Disney Dub that removes some of Phil Hartman’s dialogue.
