So I guess "Girly Air Force" is next season's anime from the secret think tank of a boy just entering puberty and his younger sibling.

...I mean, most of the reasons for that joke are obvious, but I'm also fixating on "Gripen," which sounds like something a little kid came up with after seeing a box of pens advertising their rubber soft-grip things. With Japanese characters you'd have to write it as "Guripen," so it's certainly an attempt to sound like English, if nothing else.

I was interested until I saw there was going to be a male character and at the center. The girls are cute, but meh. Also didn't quite exactly have the tone I assumed it would.

So you LIKE this increasing trend of gender-segregated anime? It is one of the things that is driving me from the medium.

The PV artwork was pretty sloppy, I'll probably check it out anyway.
