I'd argue that most of the movies, going back to the 90s, have been good. One or two stinkers isn't going to do much to diminish my optimism at this point.

Nothing wrong with the Conan movies nor are they boring.

Holy wow! This has been long overdue! Makoto has been the most underrated Conan character ever. He has style, looks, manners but his very overpowered self is what maybe makes his downfall. Still, I'm seriously excited about this! True that Movie 22 was somehow underwhelming, but 23 looks it's gonna redeem the tradition!
Still, I hope they can make Sonoko more relevant in this movie since it's gonna highlight Makoto as well. Those lovebirds deserve the treatment Ran-Shinichi and Kazuha-Heiji gets. |
