Because the "stellar lead" was less than stellar in her role.

Why tho? Who approved this? They should be thankful enough that this abomination is still allowed into existance, why continue it? Who are we punishing?

Well it was better than Sword Gai at least, and even that crap got a second season. Most of these were probably auto-greenlighted because of Netflix.

It's not about the VAs, it's about one VA. I just thought she didn't fit in the role at all. Yes, when she was acting innocent it was okay, but when she went full-on crazy it didn't work as much.

Oh ok,so more about preference taste.

Then,if you can choose, who do you prefer as Yumeko VA?
&do you prefer the live action drama Yumeko voice?

Yup.

I'm not into live-action, and I haven't thought about who I'd want to play Yumeko. But Saori Hayami has a natural kind/innocent voice, so when she tries to sound crazy, it comes out as forced. They should have chosen someone who could do crazy first and innocent second, instead of vice versa.

anything that has Netflix's "Original" seal, means they got exclusive worldwide rights(though there has been some North American productions that Netflix gets exclusive worldwide rights except in U.S like Star Trek Discovery,Better Call Saul, and more recently Final Space.).Unless you live in a place that still doesn't have Netflix or live in one of THOSE places(knowing this site,I would get modded.I can't picture an anime like this being shown in certain places..),chances are you can watch this.
