No Shinkai news article is complete without a deep-field picture of a railway and its related infrastructure, and this certainly no exception!

I never knew this myself but Makoto Shinkai was born as Makoto Niitsu so in that respect, she's acting under her father's birth name. How nice.

She will have a better career & brighter future for that young actress. Better if she'll be starred on the live action film for Your Name (Kimi No Na Wa) as Mitsuha's younger sister.

I didn't realize Makoto Shinkai's daughter had played Chibi Chibi in the recent Sailor Moon musical. I'm glad to see that she's moving up in the acting world.
