As much as I'd have preferred the cast of the 1996 game, the inclusion of Billy Kane and Blue Mary is a suitable means to compensate for this.

As far as I'm aware this is likely singularly due to its ongoing popularity in China.

I prefer 1998 (aka Dream Match 1999 on the Dreamcast), which included virtually every non-boss character from '95-'97.
