I feel like Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel I. presage flower and Girls und Panzer didn't have enough time be compared fairly to most of the rest on the list. Way too many young people for me to really care about this poll anyway. Nothing against young people - they just don't have the library behind them to judge content as well. SAO, while a good film, was really generic.

That probably explains everything. Fate and No Game No Life Zero should have been way ahead of SAO:OS, and that's coming from someone who actually likes SAO... |

Well, at the very least my favorite film of the year (of the decade?) made it into the list (That's Genocidal Organ, by the way). Although I'm kinda surprised that neither the Yamato films nor Gundam Thuderbolt made it into the list... I dunno, I thought they were quite popular?

As much as I like SAO and as much as I loved Ordinal Scale, I still say that Heaven's Feel and Kizumonogatari should have been higher than it

This is the movie that fans got all excited about because they added in Asuna’s nipple in the BD’s right? Maybe the nipple made all the difference in the voting!

I wish Presage Flower won, but it's already extremely impressive for hitting second place despite coming out in October. Also it's cool to see Prisma make the list. Localization when?

I love both SAO:OS and NGNL:0. But I know a number of people who downgraded NGNL:0 because it didn't follow the novel well enough. OS being an original story doesn't have that dragging it down. |

I can see where that would be an issue. I haven't read the novels that's probably why I had a better opinion of it. Still, taking that into account I felt they did a better job than SAO:OS |

Haven't watch HF yet so I can't comment, but I assume SAO is #1 because of the sakuga and not for the story. Nice to see GK make the list. Congrats to Geno Studio.
Oh nice that the GOAT CG season 1 made the list. Unfortunate that the amazing scene(s) that were in the TV version were removed for new scenes. |
