You should really update the article with the profiles of the speakers at the university.
I just looked over them and wow, they're all key people in all the biggest anime companies... Anyone interested in this business would do themselves a great service attending. Although I presume the lectures would only be in Japanese? Maybe they'll have an interpreter?
But man, the speakers are all important people to network with... If I was still directly in the anime business I'd go for sure. Maybe I'll show up just to ask questions

This looks to be a lot more about other businesses licensing anime properties than about the anime business itself. Did I miss something?

I would expect the Girls Und Panzer connection with Oorai to be mentioned if the Love Live Sunshine one was. Since the GaruPan/Oorai collaboration has been really successful and running much longer.

As interesting as this may sound for those with a tolerance for business-related courses, my expectation is that I would learn in a more gratifying (but less educational) way simply by watching Shirobako with a notepad in hand.

Yes, "anime business" in this context is businesses associated with anime like licensing merchandising marketing and event planning.
It's not about anime production (which wouldn't be called "business" in Japanese like this)

SHIROBAKO doesn't really discuss the sorts of issues this course covers, which as I and samuelp observed, have to do with licensing anime properties to other non-anime businesses.
