This is sort of a follow up to an Interest article posted way back when on a particular Opening animation of the Touhou Project.
The group known as Manpuku Jinja has released a 16 min length doujin animation based on the Touhou franchise during the recent Summer Comiket 80. It was subsequently posted on Nico Nico Douga. And not long after, on Youtube, as below: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WtLLKEZ7HbE The group's blog: http://manpukujinja.blog135.fc2.com/ The animation is noted for its consistent animation throughout, and a distinct lack of dialogue sound, although Japanese subititles are inserted. The episode is based on one of the shooting game titles called Perfect Cherry Blossom, with the action sequences rendered in remarkable detail. Much of the Background Music is based on already established character themes well known by fans. ( I just posted this seeing that nothing is on it yet. Pardon me!) |

actually to be exact ufotable animated this and it was zuns choice to not have voice overs so fans would not be disappointed by the sieyuus they would of chose. anyway i greatly enjoyed it having know nothing about touhou besides it is bullet hell it makes me more compelld to look for the games.

Glad to you enjoyed as much as i did! The lack of dialogue does bring out the BGM much more, very much in line with the games as well. In a sense, I think it is what defines the series as a whole.
