I'm just wondering if anyone else is disturbed like me as i can't seem to find more recent series without a female character with overly proportioned boobs. Just seeing if anyone feels the same way i do. Its like the damn creators intentionally put it in to attract the large male audiance. (by the way i'm a guy)

I hate it when they make them huge, but hey some girls do have big boobs and like to show them off. And read my post on here animenewsnetwork.com/bbs/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=16712. My freinds are disturbed about it.

Yeah,i dont like how in some of the new anime the girls have huge boobs...if there big its ok.When there too huge then its kind of grosse,i dont like when the girl is like 15 or 16 and she has these huge boobs,that no 15 or 16 year old would have.Its kinda weird.

Ehh, tons of worse things in anime (like the trend towards female characters whose primary function is to yell at male characters for the crime of being male i.e. Naru from Love Hina) than large breasted women.
It's not even a new trend. Sheesh, Fujiko and Cutey Honey ring a bell? |

but it depends on what you watch, new shows like PARANOIA AGENT or something have women with belivable figures ... nah, there's a ton of shows that don't have huge racks as the highlight! |

Well, I don't quite remember them having massive mammaries like the alien loveslaves in DearS or Rusyuna in Grenadier (who just happens to be 16). |

Big boobs a problem? Since when? There are far more demeaning things to be seen in anime (anyone seen Professor Pain lately?). I have no problem with the boobies,
 , as long as a series has other stuff going for it, bring 'em on.

I don't think it's all that bad. Big boobs are good for me. But when they're absolutely humungous it's not so disturbing as it is stupid. Anime is cartoon and cartoons exagerate the human figure. But I agree that some common sense and some limits would be good. I've watched a variety of anime of all different types and I'd say boob size is pretty varied anyways. Just be thankfull that they don't exagerate the male characters pants bulge.

Well, the average boobs in anime may have always been larger than real life, but lately (last couple years) the average breast size in anime has been growing. -t |
