I don't particularly care for Kamina's voice (although I'll most certainly get used to it), but everything else sounds pretty good. I don't think anyone could pull of Simon better than Yuri Lowenthal and Michelle Ruff sounds great as Yoko. I also love the casting choice of Sam Regal (a.k.a "Little Slugger" from Paranoia Agent) as Viral. Absolutely spot-on.

My main concerns with the dub are Johnny Yong Bosch as Rossiu and Steven Blum as Leeron, but unfortunately you don't hear either of them in the trailer.

I've heard Leeron and OH. MY. GOD. He is PERFECT.

Blatantly Gay in a creepy way.

Kamina doesn't sound as deep as he did in Japanese but he's definitely got a "Big Brother" sound to him that works very well.

Holy wow! No kidding. Okay, I'm jazzed for this dub now. I'll be tuning in Monday night for sure.

Bandai + Mechs = Awesome

I can't watch any of the clips you guys are posting because I'm currently on a dial-up connection. (Oh, god, why?!) Evil or Very Mad I hate dial-up with the burning passion of a thousand sunnnnns...

But I'll totally be tuning in on Monday, provided my parents aren't around or will listen to my pleading and fork over the telly for two hours. (Now and Then, Here and There is on too.)

The dub and the show will both seem really fresh to me as I've heard virtually nothing about the plot and I like a lot of the VAs mentioned here. (Well, almost nothing. Somebody spoiled that huge halfway plot point for me. Jerk.)

Laughing My parents are like that too, I basicly have to force them to leave! If they watched the show and saw Yoko, they would go on and on about how I'm watching "anime porn".
Lucky for me they are going to be out of town and me and my brother are going to be home alone for a couple of days, and praise the lord for DVR.

Im excited, from what I saw of the dub they did a decent job. I do think that Kamina's voice lost a little of its edge and "pizzazz", I think some of his lines might come off a little akward unless the script is drasticly changed.

you aren't the only one though it's jokingly (most of the time:roll:)

I'm still trying to be hopeful about kamina's voice because I really like his character. I really commend them for doing a good dub in a short amount of time so kamina can be excused *maybe* I have never seen Now and Then, Here and There but I hear it's great so I'm gonna watch.

Ah, thanks. I knew that it sounded familiar.

Yeah, I was thinking of making a thread for that, too. But I guess I'll wait until after I watch it.

I'm going into both of these series with almost no previous knowledge of them, so this should make for a good experience.
