Tokyo Festa in New York

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is holding a day of free events throughout NYC on February 7, 2006 aimed at increasing awareness of Japan's customs, culture, and anime titled Tokyo Festa.
Events and highlights will include:
The En-Nichi Market: A recreation of an old Edo marketplace. Featuring traditional fun and games for both children and adults.
Taiko of Edo: Wadaiko (Japanese drums) are the heartbeat of most festivals in Tokyo, and the Tokyo Metro Government's brought some of Japan's finest to Manhattan. They'll be pounding away all day long.
Tokyo Anime Showcase:
A look at anime currently or soon to be available in Japan and not yet available in North America, including a special Studio 4c Film Festival.
