Otaku Unmasked Conversation in New York

On November 30, the Japan society will host a conversation between Dai Satō, screenwriter of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Cowboy Bebop, and Samurai Champloo, and Hiroki Azuma, acclaimed Japanese philosopher and cultural critic, on the “death” and “rebirth” of Japan's pop culture.
"Otaku Unmasked The Life, Death & Rebirth of Japan's Pop Culture" will take place at 6:30 PM at Japan Society, 333 East 47th Street, New York, NY 10017 (between First and Second Avenues). Tickets are available online at Japan Society.org or by phone from the Japan Society box office at (212) 752-3015.
