Chie Shinohara's most recent manga, Mizu ni Sumu Hana, serialized in Betsucomi, is to be adapted into a live action feature and is slated for a 2005 release. The official website for the movie is open, it includes cast list, a few images from the movie and an introduction (all in Japanese).
The movie is directed by Kenji Gotou. Aki Maeda will play the part of main character Rikka.
