Hajime no Ippo: All Stars to come to the U.S.

The first game to come to American was called Victorious Boxers: Ippo's Road to Glory. It was released prior to Geneon's licencing of the anime and did not sell well. A specific release date for All Stars has not yet been announced. The original Japanese version, Hajime no Ippo: All Stars, features 70+ characters and covers almost every fight to volume 72 of the Hajime no Ippo manga. This version will also maintain the character selection and its story mode (you play as Ippo, Miyata, Sendo, Itagaki, Takamura, Aoki, Kimura, Date, Nekota, and Kamogawa in the story mode).

While the second to be released in North America, Hajime no Ippo: All Stars is actually the third Hajime no Ippo PS2 game.
