TechTV Canada: Anime (to be) Unleashed?

TechTV Canada will not be premiering the Anime Unleashed block... yet. But TechTV Canada is asking Canadian fans to help them obtain the licenses necessary to do so!
TechTV Canada's original broadcast license with the CRTC (Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission) does not include "Drama - Animation", "Comedy", or "Feature Films". Thus, TechTV cannot broadcast any shows that would fall into these genres.
To rectify this situation, TechTV Canada is seeking an amendment to their license to allow for broadcast of these genres. The application submitted to the CRTC may be viewed here. The application is seeking an expansion of the license to include all forms of drama and comedy, specifically including animated works. A more detailed listing of what is being applied for may be found on the Specialty Services Regulations transcript (Schedule I, Item 6 (subsection 7A-7G))
The deadline for comment submission is December 27th.
