The series carries a TV-PG rating on its DVD and online releases by Funimation. However, the bloody violence and sex scenes are explicit enough it should have a TV-MA rating. |

Despite the TV-PG rating, there's stronger language than one would expect from said rating, including barely bleeped F-words and crude sexual terms in one particular episode, as well as some partial nudity. TV-14 would be more appropriate. |

The TV-MA rating applied by Funimation is too harsh. There is no explicit nudity, graphic violence, strong language, or anything else unsavory that would require such a rating. There is occasional blood, but no gore. The word "sh*t" is used only a few times. Some sexual innuendo in the dialogue, but on the level you'd see in a primetime animated series. The subtitled version is even tamer. |
