Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax Ignition Game's Video Introduces Tatsuya Shiba

PS3/PS4/Vita fighting game debuts on December 17

The official website of Sega, Ecole, and French Bread's Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax Ignition fighting game began streaming a character introduction video on Wednesday for the game's new character, The irregular at magic high school's Tatsuya Shiba.

The original Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax game already offered Miyuki as a playable character and Tatsuya as a support character. The new game will now let players use either character as a playable or a support character.

Ecole and French Bread are developing the game, which debuted in Japanese arcades on July 28. The game will next arrive on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita in Japan on December 17. LiSA (Fate/Zero, Sword Art Online, The irregular at magic high school) is performing the game's theme song "ID."

The game adds new playable characters, such as The Devil Is a Part-Timer!'s Emi Yūsa/Emilia, Heavy Object's Quenser, The irregular at magic high school's Tatsuya Shiba, and A Certain Scientific Railgun's Kuroko Shirai. The game also adds new systems, such as the new ability to pick two support characters and switch between them every round, and it re-balances existing characters.

The PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita port of Sega's first Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax arcade fighting game shipped in Japan in November 2014. Sega released the game in North America and Europe on Tuesday.

The first game features 14 playable characters and 23 support characters from ASCII Media Works' Dengeki Bunko light novel titles. The game was launched to celebrate the imprint's 20th anniversary. Mami Kawada performed the original game's first theme song "Belief."
