Moromono no Jijō's Shun Numa launches Samon-kun wa Summoner manga

This year's 42nd issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is ending Kentarō Fukuda's Devily Man manga on Monday. Fukuda launched the manga in this year's 26th issue on May 25. The final chapter thanked fans for reading and asked fans to look forward to Fukuda's next work. The manga's second volume will ship on November 4.

Additionally, the issue is revealing that it will launch Shun Numa's Samon-kun wa Summoner (Samon is a Summoner) manga in the 43rd issue, which will ship on September 21. The new "demon-like unusual comedy" manga will center on high school student and summoner named Samon. Shueisha previously published Numa's three-chapter Moromono no Jijō manga in Weekly Shonen Jump last year.

Shonen Jump describes Devily Man as follows:

Madogiwa is an all-time bottom rank employee of a demon trading company that lends their powers to humans.
His client in the human world turns out to be…a little young boy?!
The strange duo goes off to rake in the money!!

Viz Media published the first three chapters of Devily Man in English simultaneously with its Japanese release as part of the company's Jump Start initiative.

Ken Ogino's Lady Justice and Takuma Yokota's Straighten Up! Welcome to Shika High's Competitive Dance Club (Sesuji wo Pin! to - Shikakō Kyōgi Dance-bu e Yōkoso) manga also launched in May alongside Devily Man. Ogino ended Lady Justice in Shonen Jump's 41st issue on Monday.

Shonen Jump's 42nd issue will also launch the first chapter of Haruto Ikezawa's (Kurogane) Mononofu manga on Monday.

Viz Media had announced on Monday that it would publish Mononofu in English as part of its Jump Start program. The announcement had noted that "JUMP STARTs are returning next week! Kicking things off is Mononofu by Haruto Ikeawa."
