Japanese artists have embraced live streaming shows, and every month Japanese artist-empowerment platform and events leader Zaiko helps put on dozens of shows that can be enjoyed from all around the world. Every month, Zaiko highlights some of the biggest shows happening in the coming weeks, in an effort to help share the best in Japanese music with the globe.

The five-member group has scored hits thanks to their melodic take on the heavy guitar-rooted sound, while also developing a fervent following abroad. Melon Batake A Go Go “SICK×IDOLS×SICK JAPAN TOUR 2022” (Saturday, June 18, 8:30 p.m. Japan Standard Time, About $20 USD, Archive Available Until Tuesday, June 21) — Japanese idol music always has a way of finding an exciting twist on a familiar style. Five-member outfit Melon Batake A Go Go, clad in black masks and super-hero-like costumes, offers a cheerful spin on genres such as rockabilly, picopop, garage rock and much more. It's a clever interpretation of sound resulting in a lot of exciting music, and it will be on display as part of this livestreamed stop on their latest tour.
