Experience the 'One Year War' with Mobile Suit Gundam Side Stories, coming May 29th
Play-Asia.com is proud to announce that Mobile Suit Gundam Side Stories, the definitive HD-remastered compilation that cover the entirety of the 'One Year War' will be available from May 29th exclusively for PlayStation 3.
With Mobile Suit Gundam Side Stories players will relive all the "One Year War" events from Earth Federation and Principality of Zeon point of views across six amazing titles:
Missing Link is the brand new MSG story arc. Gameplay will revolve around the deployment of three mobile suit teams in both ground and space battles; players can switch between the three mobile suits of their choosing in the midst of battle, while support craft can be summoned for both offense and defense. Side Stories will also feature zero-gravity and three-dimensional maneuvering. A remastered version of each of the 5 Gundam classics will also be included, having received a facelift using Missing Link's new gameplay as the model.
Blue Destiny takes place towards the end of the 'One Year War' focusing on Yu Kajima - the leader of the Marmot Team, a subdivision of the experimental corps, and pilot of the Blue Destiny 1 GM.
Rise From the Ashes takes place in Australia, following an elite squad of RGM-79 GMs (known as the "White Dingo" squad) who are charged with various missions built around the attacks by the Principality of Zeon.
Zeonic Front turns your attention from the Earth Federation to that of the Principality of Zeon. The story follows the Midnight Fenrir Corps, founded by Kycilia Zabi as an elite fighting force to serve her directly in her personal objectives in the 'One Year War'.
Lost War Chronicles has the player assume the role of either Captain Matt Healy and fight for the Earth Federation, or the role of Lt. Ken Bederstadt and fight for the Principality of Zeon - essentially experiencing the 'One Year War' from a grunt perspective. Lost War Chronicles' story distances itself from that of the television series.
Space, To The End of a Flash is a story featured in the game Mobile Suit Gundam: Encounters in Space and revolves around a second Pegasus class ship, the SCVA-72 Thoroughbred and its crew. The crew are tasked to intercept a Zeon supply route behind the Moon that leads to Space Fortress Solomon.
