Danganronpa Game Comes With Monokuma Smartphone Stand

In September of last year, Spike Chunsoft announced Zettai Zetsubō Shōjo Danganronpa: Another Episode, a new spinoff game for the Danganronpa series. Since then, bits and pieces of information surrounding the release have been revealed. After a long wait, the release date was finally made public this week, letting fans everywhere know that the game would be on game store shelves throughout Japan on September 25.

But the real clincher came later, when Spike Chunsoft revealed that pre-orders of the game would come with a limited edition, Fluffy Monokuma Smartphone Stand. The item not only allows you to give your smartphone a snug fitting resting place, but possesses a fuzzy exterior that is extremely comforting, despite being modeled after the adorably evil bear.

Altogether, the package with the game and smartphone stand come out to a total of 7,020 yen after tax (about US $69). It was revealed in February that the game itself would star Komaru Naegi, the sister of the original game's protagonist Makoto Naegi. NIS America will be releasing the second game of the series, Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair for Europe and North America this September.
